Print — Use a handheld industrial printer (Brady BMP21-PLUS / Brother P-Touch / DYMO Rhino) with 12mm continuous heat shrink tubing to print the complete cable number (e.g.,
MAIN-FEEDER-01). - Insert — Slide the printed heat shrink tubing onto the 9mm high marker strip (the 12mm flat width fits smoothly).
- Shrink (Optional) — Briefly use a heat gun to shrink the tubing tight against the marker strip, preventing slippage.
- Cable Tie Secure — Thread UV-resistant or stainless steel cable ties through the slots at both ends of the marker strip and fasten them to the cable.
Method B: Traditional Character Bead Method (No Printer Required)
Suitable for on-site repairs or emergency labeling, no electronic equipment needed.
- Select Marker Strip — Choose the appropriate size (65mm to 150mm) according to the length of the number.
- Insert Character Beads — Insert pre-printed letter and number character beads one by one into the guide grooves of the marker strip to form the desired number.
